What are resources?

Resources are collections of documents and folders that live within an enterprise backend. When you publish a form to a user the resources are synced to their device and can be used on the form. For example, reference lookup data or images files that appear on the form may be attached as resources.

How do I add them to a form?

From the Resources tab click + Add documents to launch the Source Location Browser, and select the location of your resources.

Users can not see your forms until they are shared.  You can share Forms with selected Users or to Groups of users.

Sharing a From with All Users

Sharing a form with the "Everyone" group will share it with all Asdeq users, and it will appear on all synced devices.

When users submit a form the submitted data is saved to the source location as a file with the .form extension.

From this tab you can:

  • Select a Save Drafts To location.  This is the server location where draft .form files will be saved.  If no location is selected the drafts will be saved in the Submission folder.

  • Select a Save Submission To location.  This is the location where where the submitted .form files will be saved.
  • Use the list to view draft and submitted forms using AsdeqForms for Web.

When forms are submitted by users they get saved to the Submission source location as a file with a .form extension. This will either be JSON or XML depending on the form's configuration.

The Export tab allows you to select additional form output types.
